Sweet MemoriesSweet Memories, a Milton Keynes based confectionary retailer, wanted a cost effective way to promote and sell their products globally. Using a database back end, server-side processing and a secure SSL link, we created a solution which would allow them to take orders online without breaking the bank. Both the product and postage information are stored in the database, for easy maintenance. In addition, this means that the customer will receive the best possible price wherever in the world they are ordering from, because the web site can automatically work out the best postage rate for their country.

Having created the site, the next step was to promote it, which meant securing it a high Search Engine ranking position. This is not an exact science, but by creating the pages in accordance with industry-standard guidelines, we were able to get their site ranked in the Top 5 on several search engines, including AltaVista and Google.
